What is the Operations Mode?

The Operation game mode in Delta Force offers some very unique gameplay by having a mix of player versus player and also CPU controlled Operators. You’ll be essentially competing against both the computer and real-life players! There’s two teams during an Operation mode match in a collection of 3 players each. Want to get more Operator skins and weapons quickly and easily? Perfect for beginner players, you can get a delta force top up with us today to progress faster than anyone else!
There’s two sides to match both player controlled teams, but each have their own objectives. The first is the Global Threat Initiative team. These guys are here to try and stop a civil war from happening between the Ahsarah militia and the Haavk Corporation. Meanwhile, the other side is doing the opposite, as they want the war to happen more than anything else.
Both teams of players are competing to take out the civil war chances before the CPU enemies do. However, you’re gonna need a lot of supplies which can only be gathered throughout a match. That is where the mechanics like Safe Boxes come in, as they’re used to store stolen loot for future matches.
The best way to gather loot is by taking out the other team and enemies. Besides staying alive and shooting others, your main goal should be gathering as much quality loot as possible, which in turn improves your Gear.
Understanding Your Gear

When you first start out playing the Operations mode, you won’t have a lot of Gear to wear or spare. You’ll have the most basic options of firearms, secondaries, and even melee weapons like the knife. Getting better Gear will be your top priority when you join your first match.
You should focus mostly on getting better armor so that your maximum Health and Defense increases. That way you aren’t getting shot down immediately right when the match starts or when you enter open areas.
There’s also specific ammunition cartridges and medical kits you need to remember and keep track of. Every weapon has a very specific bullet size, so it’s not as simple as picking an ammo type based on the gun type. You have to check their descriptions to see which ammunition box matches their size instead.
This means either buying that ammunition from the Armory shop or looting more during matches. If you run out of ammo, that’s on you to get more or switch weapons!
As for the medical supplies, Delta Force doesn’t work as your traditional team shooter where you’re healed by others or slowly over time. Instead, if you get hit, you stay hit! To heal, you have to either bring some medical supplies in your Backpack to the match or find some around the map. Finding those supplies can be risky since you’re mostly relying on luck and that you aren’t being stalked by an enemy Operator.
The Safe Box

The biggest risk when playing Operation mode is losing all the loot you’ve gathered. Whenever you die, everything that you collected throughout the match will be lost forever. However, there’s a core mechanic that you gotta use for the loot that you really need.
This is the Safe Box, which can come in multiple different sizes for larger storage spaces. All loot that gets placed in these boxes is safe and secured even if you die.
The larger Safe Boxes can be earned through the Battle Pass which is progressed the more that you play. However, you have to manually place your loot into the box in your Item Pouch.
While the Basic Safe Box will only be able to hold the smallest items, those can still be some very rare ones. The more you play and get used to the game though, you’ll eventually be able to store some of the biggest and rarest items on sight.
Operator Abilities

As with most team-based shooters, every Operator that you unlock and control have different abilities and specialties to help you fit your play style. Some Operators have a more supportive one, such as Toxik.
While not expected all the time, she’s one of the few healing Operators that heal others without needing medical supplies. Other Operators are more aggressive with explosive abilities and some who’re more stealth reliant and best for gathering loot without making a sound.
